Business Continuity Plans

Roadmap to Uninterrupted Operation

In the modern business world, Interruption is not just a cost item, but a strategic risk that will permanently shake your reputation. Business Continuity is the ability of your organization to restart its critical functions within acceptable time frames in the event of a disaster or major disruption.

At SCORE Consultancy, we don't just establish a plan, but a live and testable management system integrated into your organization's DNA. The Business Continuity Plans (BCP) we offer are fully compliant with the international ISO 22301 Business Continuity Management System standard, ensuring your business stays operational even under the most challenging conditions.

Why a Standardized Business Continuity Plan?

A good BCP provides your organization with a competitive advantage and internal assurance:

  • Financial Resilience: Rapid recovery of critical processes minimizes revenue loss and protects your contractual obligations.

  • Stakeholder Trust: Proves your credibility and sense of responsibility to customers, investors, and regulators.

  • Legal and Regulatory Compliance: Ensures compliance with standards (ISO 22301) mandatory in highly regulated sectors.

  • Clear Recovery plans Objectives: The plan clarifies Recovery plans objectives (RTO - Maximum Interruption Time and RPO - Maximum Data Loss), enabling IT and operations teams to work goal-oriented.

🗺️ SCORE's BCP Development Methodology

A successful Business Continuity Plan is the result of a methodological study consisting of four main phases:

  • Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Risk Analysis
  • Recovery plans (Strategies) and Solution Design
  • Business Continuity Plans Documentation
  • Training & Capacity Development, Drill, and Continuous Improvement

Phase 1: Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Risk Analysis

This is the fundamental step that determines what the plan will focus on:

  • Determining Critical Processes: We clarify which business processes of the organization are most critical in terms of revenue generation, legal compliance, and reputation.

  • BIA (Business Impact Analysis): We analyze in detail the financial and operational impact that would occur if each critical process stopped. This analysis ensures that the Recovery plans Objectives (RTO/RPO) are based on scientific foundations.

  • Risk Analysis: We assess the likelihood and potential impact of all threats (cyber, Physical Security, supply chain, etc.) that could affect critical processes.

Phase 2: Recovery plans (Strategies) and Solution Design

The most appropriate and cost-effective solutions are determined based on the analysis results:

  • Strategy Selection: The most suitable Recovery plans (Strategies) are designed for IT infrastructure, human resources, facilities, and the supply chain, such as backup, recovery, and relocation.

  • Resource Planning: Detailed planning of the personnel, Technological Solutions, and alternative working environments necessary to maintain critical functions is carried out.

  • Supplier Resilience: The Business Continuity capabilities of critical third-party providers are evaluated, and alternative strategies for risky suppliers are developed.

Phase 3: Business Continuity Plans Documentation

Plans are prepared with clarity that can be followed even under stress during a Crisis:

  • BCP Core Documentation: Role- and scenario-based, step-by-step implementation guides are created for Business Continuity Teams, IT Disaster Recovery Teams, and Emergency Response Teams.

  • Communication and Escalation Procedures: It is clarified who will notify which authorized person when an Interruption begins and how it will be escalated to Crisis Management.

  • Backup and Restoration Procedures: Technical instructions for data and system recovery are prepared in line with Business Continuity objectives.

Phase 4: Training & Capacity Development, Drill, and Continuous Improvement

The plan is kept live and current.

  • Role-Based Training & Capacity Development: Specific Training & Capacity Development is given to all teams involved in the BCP (operations, IT, senior management).

  • Applied Drills: All steps of the plan are periodically verified through Simulations and functional tests (fully integrated with SCORE's Drill service).

  • Update Mechanism: A process is established for the regular review and revision of the plan in parallel with organizational, technological, and Physical Security changes within the organization.

The Business Continuity Plan focuses not on what stops your business, but on what restarts your business. SCORE is there to ensure you can press that restart button with confidence.
