Emergency and Disaster Management Plans

Manage Your Risks Correctly!

The cornerstone of operational Resilience is preparedness against uncertainty. In today's dynamic world; unpredictable events such as natural disasters, technological failures, cyber attacks, or pandemics can threaten the reputation and financial health of organizations within seconds.

Our goal at SCORE Consultancy is to prevent a risky incident from turning into a disaster and ensure the critical continuity of your business operations. The Emergency and Disaster Management Plans we offer are a live and implementable roadmap that transforms chaos into a systematic response.

An effective plan offers more than just meeting legal requirements:

  • Controlled Response: Provides an organized team response where everyone knows what to do instead of panic during a Crisis.

  • Reputation Management: Prevents loss of trust among customers and stakeholders through fast and transparent communication protocols.

  • Financial Protection: Minimizes financial losses and Downtime by rapidly recovering critical operations.

  • Legal Compliance: Provides the ability to act in line with sectoral regulations and national standards.

SCORE's Detailed Planning Methodology

SCORE handles the planning process in three main stages, in line with international standards (especially ISO 22301). This is not just a document, but a process of creating a corporate reflex.

  • Analysis and Scope Determination
  • Plan Creation and Documentation
  • Implementation and Verification (Training & Capacity Development and Drill)

Phase 1: Analysis and Scope Determination

This phase forms the foundation of the plan. Based on our field experience, we extract your organization's unique risk profile:

  • Risk Assessment: We analyze the probability and impact of all internal and external threats (fire, earthquake, cyber attack, supply chain Interruption, etc.) to which your organization is exposed.

  • Legal and Sectoral Compliance Review: We identify mandatory emergency and Disaster Management requirements specific to your sector.

  • Resource Inventory: We detail the inventory of human resources, technology, backup systems, and supplier resources that can be utilized during an emergency.

Phase 2: Plan Creation and Documentation

Based on the data obtained, we prepare customized plans that will be implemented according to the type and scale of the Crisis:

  • Emergency Response Plans: Detailed steps prioritizing life and property safety immediately after the incident (first hours), managing local response teams and evacuation processes.

  • Disaster Management Plan: These are comprehensive plans prepared in advance for a community, institution, or organization to be prepared for disasters such as earthquakes, floods, fires, landslides, storms, and technological accidents; to be able to respond effectively when a disaster occurs; and to transition to a rapid recovery process after the disaster.

  • Physical Security Incident Response Plans: A systematic plan defining how, by whom, and with what steps intervention will be made against Physical Security threats that may arise in an organization (unauthorized entry, theft, assault, vandalism, suspicious package, terror threat, armed attack, hostage taking, protest, etc.).

  • Information Security Incident Response Plans: A plan determining how an organization will act, what steps it will follow, and who will assume which responsibility in the face of cyber attacks or Information Security breaches.

  • Crisis Management Communication Protocols: Clear procedures defining when, what message, and by whom it will be conveyed to internal and external stakeholders (media, public, employees, customers).

Phase 3: Implementation and Verification (Training & Capacity Development and Drill)

Even the best plan is just a piece of paper unless its applicability is tested.

  • Staff Training & Capacity Development: Applied training is provided to all personnel, including Emergency Teams (ADY) and Crisis Management Teams (KYE), on their duties and responsibilities.

  • Drills and Simulations: The deficiencies of the plan are identified, and the coordination ability of the teams is measured through realistic tabletop and functional drills.

  • Continuous Review: In accordance with the Business Continuity lifecycle principle, plans are periodically updated in line with corporate changes and new risks.
